Abstract
The advancement of experimental methods in biological research is producing increasing amount of data with various degrees of complexity. To give the data meaning and to make it accessible to a wide audience, adequate methods of data visualization and user-friendly applications need to be adopted. Our team has developed and successfully launched a web-based application to visualize sequence-to-structure alignment of proteins. I will talk about ongoing projects aiming to improve the tool and the visualization by studying human perception using crowdsourcing techniques amongst others.
