Prof. Dr. Monika Henzinger receives netidee Science funding 2020

Her FWF research project "Fast Algorithms for a Reactive Network Layer" was awarded. The faculty congratulates!

The netidee Science grant is endowed annually by the Internet Foundation and awarded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF). Andreas Schildberger, Chairman of the Internet Foundation, awarded the sponsorship together with Artemis Vakianis, Vice President of the FWF.

"Research into algorithms that make networks even more efficient can make the Internet as a whole even more stable and reliable. This fits perfectly with the netidee Science funding," said Schildberger happily.

Prof. Dr. Monika Henzinger heads the Forschungsgruppe Theory and Applications of Algorithms (TAA) research group at the Faculty of Computer Science at the University of Vienna.
