Until 30.6.: Changes in studies to remote learning

Due to SARS CoV-2, teaching at the University of Vienna is expected to continue in the form of "home learning" until 30 June 2020. No courses/examinations with physical presence will be held. Teaching will be changed to "home-learning" (in particular with the use of e-learning).

In practical terms, this means that the buildings at all university locations remain closed for teaching purposes and that no events involving external persons will take place. The SSCs and the Admission Office are not open for customer service. Electronic enquiries will, of course, be processed. The libraries, the University Sport Institute and the Language Centre of the University of Vienna remain closed as well.

The University of Vienna aims to ensure that students do not suffer any disadvantages in the continuation of their studies despite the special circumstances. The University has informed teachers/examiners/SSCs about the further procedure.

In practical terms, this means that the buildings at all university locations remain closed for teaching purposes and that no events involving external persons will take place.

The temporary change to remote teaching serves to reduce the risk of infection by minimising possible contact. You will be informed in due time as soon as attendance in courses is required again. Therefore, please continue to check your student e-mail account regularly.

We will inform you directly by e-mail if the situation changes.
